The rumor was that Gessner would be discharged this morning if nothing else happened, but it turns out that they want him to stay another night. Not because anything happened...just 'cause. Actually I think that it is a good idea. It seems silly to me to discharge someone directly from ICU. So, he is supposedly being moved to a regular floor sometime today and then can come home tomorrow. Provided, of course that there is no more bleeding.
My father-in-law arrived today for a visit, which is nice. He will hang out with Gess some so that I can take a break, which will be nice. Not that I have been here 24/7 or anything. It is just nice to know that someone is there and that someone is not me all the time :)

Lisa just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you and Gess.
I admire your strength I don't know how you do it. You are an amazing woman, hang in there!
Glad for the update and been thinking of you. I hope thinks continue to be stable and Gess can come home soon and, of course, that the docs can help you figure out what can be done to stop these bleeding episodes. Hang in there; give a yell if you want a break in Oly, we're here. (PS, as if my opinion matters, your story about your sister's situation was horrifying and I feel terrible about it and that the call with CPS seemed so pointless. I wish I had some good idea to offer on that. My collegue "works" as a court appointed child advocate (it is volunteer work, but he does it about 20% time), I can put you in touch with him if you want an insider's view of how to work the system.)
